He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Edith Edgar (Hicks); and his brothers, Harold, Charles, Glen Edgar and Hiltzon Allen.
He is survived by: his significant other Lorna Arbeau; his children, Pam Edgar of Petitcodiac and Matt Edgar of Petitcodiac; his stepson Paul Steeves (Gail) of Riverview; his siblings, Richard, Les Edgar, Linda and Carol Edgar; and his close friends, Chrissy and Heather Arbeau. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
