He is survived by: his wife Julie Mazerolle of Moncton; his children, Kelly Maillet (Dustin) of Moncton and Glenn O'Brien (Lori Cormier) of Sackville; his grandsons, Marco Savoie and Mason Maillet; his stepchildren, Mandy Dixon (Ellion) of Moncton and Kirk Mazerolle of Miramichi; his stepgrandchildren, Jade Leaman, Lilli Leaman, Ashley Taylor and Jackson Maillet; his former wife Patricia O'Brien of Moncton; and his siblings, Carol Forrest (Kevin), Joanne Scott (Michael) of Moncton, Alan O'Brien (Jeannette) of Moncton, Kevin O'Brien (Brenda) of Moncton, Stephen O'Brien of Moncton and Mark O'Brien of Ontario.
