She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albert and Dorothy Eldridge; her husband Howard Roy Sparks; her siblings, Barbara Hooks and Norval Eldridge; and her son Victor Sparks.

She is survived by: her family, Deanna Bembridge (Donald), Noreen Goodwin, Sandra Hirano (David), Barbara Kay, Vivian LeBlanc (Louis) and Shaune Coughlin (Danny); and her sister Lydia Hanselpacker. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
