He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Lirette (Melanson) and Paul Melanson. He is survived by: his children, Gerald, Wayne (Stacy), Paul, Krista (David), Annika and James (Brooke); his stepsons, Peter and Justin; and his siblings, James (Dora), Danny (Doreen), Marianne (Raymond), Lynda, Lea and Jeanette. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a great - grand daughter.
