She was predeceased by: her parents, Percival Burns and Evelyne Burns (Pogue); her husband Norman Leverne Kilby; her sisters, Judy and Carol; and her grandchildren, Melissa and William Calhoun.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Hughes (Bryce), David Kilby (Maureen), Stephen Kilby (Judy), Jennifer Kilby and Andrew Kilby; and her siblings, Robert (Margaret), Neil (Sylvia), Chuck (Dawn), Cathy (Jim), Debbie (Terry), Janet (Ernest) and Barbara. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
