“I have known Ovie for 45 years since he and I and my family met him in Toronto...he stayed with us briefly when he moved back down home to the east coast. What a man; he helped many people in his life all across this country, people he doesn't even know about. I am one of them. My children loved him and still do today; Michelle living in Shediac, and my son Dan living in Halifax and we were all shocked to hear of his death. May he rest in peace and may his family know that he is missed.”
