She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Carter and Ronald Carter; her husband Stewart Wilkins; her daughters, Kim (Jeff) and Shonda (Jason); her grandchildren, Jada, Owen, Makayla and Chase; and her siblings, Dale (Marilyn), Brenda (Peter), Mike (Judy), Judy and Gerry (Elaine).
