She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Shea; her husband Ronald Ashley; her siblings, Susan Shea and Danny Shea; and her mother-in-law Shirley Isabel Johnson.

She is survived by: her mother Pauline Shea (Melanson) of Moncton; her sons, Sean Ashley (Jessica Wilson) of Burnaby, BC and David Ashley (Martha Beardsworth) of Moncton, NB; her siblings, Cathy Shea of Halifax, Linda Shea (David) of Calgary, AB and Victor Shea of Toronto, ON; her granddaughters, Alice and Roslyn; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Maillet (Wayne), Sharon Ingram (Jim), Sheilah Yeomans (Paul) and Debbie Leighton; and her nieces and nephews, Chris, Nick, Michelle, Julie, Kelly, Allison, Joe, Elizabeth, Phillip, Tommy, Danny, Tasha, Dilly, Kaity, Lauren, Darcy and Liam.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fergusons Riverview Community Chapel (214 Pine Glen Rd, Riverview, NB E1B1V6).
