Myrtle Ryder Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Ryder (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 30, 2021 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne Garfield Ryder; her daughters, Lorna Myrtle and Janet Lynn (Don Ingersoll); her granddaughter Lindsay Ingersoll; her parents, Mont Thorne and Mottie Thorne; and her siblings, Irene, Mildred, Leo and Bud.

She is survived by: her daughter Shirley DeMerchant (Ross); her grandchildren, Brad Ingersoll (Rachel), Jordan DeMerchant (Karena) and Janna Fenerty (Brendan); and her great grandchildren, Colton Ingersoll, Kai DeMerchant, Xander DeMerchant, Cailyn Ingersoll, Selah DeMerchant, Henrik Fenerty, Quinton DeMerchant, Nevaeh Fenerty and Maximus DeMerchant.

Please note the following Covid Protocols as per the Province of New Brunswick; Following a brief graveside service on January 2, 2022 the family will receive fully vaccinated guests and friends in the atrium of Moncton Wesleyan Church, 945 St. George Blvd, from 1:30pm - 2:30 pm. A Service Celebrating Myrtle's life will immediately follow at 3:00 PM, open to those who are vaxed or unvaxed following Covid Protocols as per the Province of New Brunswick.
