She is survived by: her parent Margaret "Peg" MacGillivray (Gillis); her husband Raymond Raniere; her children, Deb Chaisson (Bill), Darlene Raniere and Tracey Swansburg (Darren); her grandchildren, Alyson Raniere, Rachael Chaisson, Scott Chaisson, Chris Goguen (Kim), Stephanie Conlin (Nick), Roland LeBlanc, Raymond LeBlanc, Austin Swansburg, Evan Swansburg, Hannah, Adam, Emma, Abbie, Xander, Brooklyn and Maddison; her sister Carolyn White; her daughter Judy Raniere; her siblings, Anne MacGillivray and Robert Raniere (Mary); and also, Valerie Palmerter, Allan Raniere (Lyse), Peter Richard and Eric Porter. She is also survived by wife and mother.

Donations in Marlene's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
