It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Smith of Moncton, New Brunswick, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on December 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Smith; her daughter Laura; and her siblings, Kenny, Claude, Doris, Dolly, Allan, Joe and Gerry.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Smith (Carol), Colleen Bourgeois (Charlie), Jacqueline Smith, Susan Kelly (Rob), Patricia Lyons (Tim), Rick Smith (late Debbie) and Michael Smith (Linda); her grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, Patrick, Michelle, Brett, Natalie, Nathan, Ryan, Nicole, Rebecca, Jamie, Daphne, Danny and Deirdre; and her great grandchildren, Kaya, Gauge, Harper, Deacon, Amaris, Jay, Jude, Ellie and Dorothy.

Those attending will be required to wear a mask and show proof of vaccinations, as well as maintain social distance.
