She was predeceased by: her mother Christina Patenaude (Appignani). She is survived by: her close friend Étienne Laplante; her children, Josée Patenaude-Benoit and Dakota Patenaude; and her sister Mimi Patenaude. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
