He is survived by: his wife Annette Hogan (Bastarache); his son Shawn Hogan (Nicole); his grandchildren, Dylan and Kyle; his siblings, Sterling (Lourdes), Jack (Albertine), Vinnie (Brenda), Lida Currie (late Brian) and Vicky Brown (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Lee Fraser, Leo-Paul Bastarache (Jeanita), Mary Hogan and Jeannine Kent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Lyle, donations made to the CNIB Foundation or Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
