She was predeceased by: her parent Levis Lutes; and her siblings, Stella Tingley, Doris Jones, Jean Lockhart, Shirley Lewis and Omer Lutes.

She is survived by: her parent Jennie Lutes (Hope); her husband Wayne Lowther; her sons, Troy and Grant; and her siblings, Thelma Steeves, Pauline Lutes and Lea Lutes of Scarborough, ON. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
