Loretta Cochrane Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2022, at the age of 81, Loretta Cochrane (Moncton, New Brunswick), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Walsh and Sadie Lynk (MacNeil); her former husband John "Jook" Moores; her husband Rev. Dana Cochrane; and her sisters, Beverley MacLeod and Donna Toomey.

She is survived by: her children, Kimberley Lynk (Glenn) of Dieppe and Gregg Moores (Lisa) of Moncton; her siblings, Alice Arsenault (late Willie) of Sydney, NS, Sheldon MacNeil (late Shirley) of Glace Bay, NS, Kevin MacNeil (Sharon) of Halifax, NS and Jimmy MacNeil of Halifax, NS; her brothers-in-law, Skip MacLeod of Toronto, ON and Gerald Toomey of Glace Bay, NS; her granddaughters, Jenna Moores of Moncton and Renee Moores of Moncton; and her great grandchildren, Ezekiel Moores, Damian Spencer-Moores and Chloe Spencer-Moores. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donation to the Moncton SPCA, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
