He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dominique and Zélica (Gaudet); his sister Edith Bourque (late Oscar) of Shediac; his siblings-in-law, Alderic McCaie of Moncton, Joseph "Joe" Thibodeau of Moncton and Mariette Boivin (late Marcel Mathieu) of Laval; his goddaughters, Odette Léger (Richard) and Rachel Suffriti; his nieces and nephews, Roberte, Doris, Roger, Bernice, Donald and Norman; his wife Yolande Mathieu; his siblings, Rita (late Henri), Corinne, Andréa, Yvonne, Albertine, Camille (late Florence) and Hervé (late Rita); and his brother-in-law Jean-Paul (late Marguerite).
