He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Steeves and Laura Steeves (Jonah); and his siblings, Leonard (Norma), Melda (Nelson Smith) and Lois (Leigh Steeves).
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Stacey (Jennifer) and Tara; and his siblings-in-law, Ian Girven (Terry) and Carol Girven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
