He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludger Savoie and Agnès Savoie (Bouchard); and his siblings, Rose-Aline, Cécile, Romain, Maurice, Gérard and Noël.

He is survived by: his siblings, Hélène Savoie-Hickey (Howard) of London, ON, Monique Savoie-Audet of Charlo, Robert Savoie of Charlo, Yvon Savoie (Joanne) of Charlo, Claude Savoie (Lynn) of Bathurst, Jean-Louis Savoie (Josette) of Beresford and Rhéal Savoie (late Monique) of Mississauga, ON. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
