He was predeceased by: his parents, Edouard Gautreau and Marie Gautreau (Gallant); and his siblings, Paul, Gerald, Pat, Jackie Martin and Yvette.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Gautreau (Gallant); his daughter Joanne Gautreau (Don LeBlanc) of Moncton; his siblings, Edmée Gautreau of Moncton, Claudette Martin of Shediac, Norbert Martin (Diane Fougère) of Shediac, Normand (Gisèle) of Shediac, Yvon of Shediac, Ronald of Shediac and Bernard (Phyllis) of Moncton; his siblings-in-law, Émilie Martin of Shediac, Lucille Martin of Shediac, Velma Strachan (Brian) of Moncton, Marg Manning (Bruce) of Moncton, Léona Boucher (Roger) of Moncton, Hervé Cormier of Shediac and André Gallant (Theresa) of Moncton; and his grandson Brandon Gautreau of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
