He was predeceased by: his parents, Reagh Smith and Lois Smith (Moore); his sister Elsie; and his children, Joyce and Gerard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Emeline Smith (Gaudet); his children, Jacinta LeBlanc (Jeff Leblanc) of Moncton, Crystal Smith (Mario Hinsche) of Moncton, Judy Bridges (Danny) of Alberta, Ann Smith (Brian Alcorn) of Summerside, PE, Mary Delaney (Brian) of St. Edwards, PE, Reg (Sue) of St. Catherines, ON, Clayton (Valerie) of St. Catherines, ON, John of Summerside, PE, Chris of Dartmouth, NS, Danny of Moncton and Floyd of Moncton; and his brother Chester (Anna) of O'Leary, PE. He is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Proof of double vaccination, government ID and face masks are mandatory upon entering the Funeral Home Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery following the funeral Mass.
