It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Longphee (Moncton, New Brunswick), born in Souris, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on April 5, 2016, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepparent Edward Longphee; his siblings, Eddie and Mary; and his half-brothers, Kenneth and David.

He is survived by: his stepparent Anna Longphee; his wife Jeannette (Dutcher); his children, Joan of Moncton, Joyce (Steve) of Moncton, Jim of Moncton, Jeff (Paula) of Moncton, Jenny (Mike) of Moncton, John (Angela) of Moncton and Jason of Moncton; his grandchildren, Trevor (Kristin), Nicholas, Angela (Jon), Sadie (Alexandre), Bianca, Jordan, Brenna, Madison, Monica and Jared; his sister Eleanor; and his half-siblings, Viola, Beverley, Linda, Margaret and Earl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
