He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie and Ida. He is survived by: his daughters, Monique (Michel Cormier), Sylvie and Chantal (Gilles Gallant); and his grandchildren, Marie-Pier Gallant, Amelie Gallant, Jean-Michel Cormier and Jonathan Cormier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
