He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat Boudreau and Germaine Boudreau (Maillet); and his siblings, Jeannita and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his sons, David (Carole) of Bouctouche, Bobby (Myah) of Grande and Digue; his grandchildren, Sylvain, Samuel, Véronique, Jack and Eva; and his siblings, Clara Poirier (Yvon) of Sainte, Kent, Louise Michaud (Joseph) of Bouctouche, Rose, Marie Richard (Francis) of Shediac, Évangeline Gallant (Bernard) of Moncton, Emery (Marie) of Bouctouche and Raymond (Louise) of Bouctouche. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In Joe's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Manoir Saint–Jean Baptiste.
