He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ward and Elizabeth Ward (Stiles); his sisters, Doris England (Laurie) of Toronto Ontario, Joan Murrell of Toronto Ontario and Ruth Steeves (Jack) of Hillsborough, N. B.; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Lena Cormier.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Ward (Cormier); his siblings, Millie Kelessi (late Peter) of Toronto, David Ward (late Leta) of Moncton, Lawrence Ward (Shirley) of Moncton and Gary Ward (Linda) of Moncton; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Murrell of Toronto, Ronald Cormier, Emerie Cormier, Terry Cormier (Leoline) of Moncton and Diane Lewis (late Bryant).
