It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joachim Knackstedt (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm and Elsbeth; and his siblings, Alexander, Ilse and Helga.

He is survived by: his wife Penelope (Penny); his sons, Mark (Sandra), Trent and Dane (Victoria); and his grandchildren, True and Bodhi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9).

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for those who feel inspired to do so, to donate to one of the following causes: Parkinson's Canada, PAW (Greater Moncton SPCA), or Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
