She was predeceased by: her parents, Alban Melanson and Lydie Melanson-Bastarache (Gaudet); and her siblings, Fernande Melanson, Anita Thibodeau-Babin, Emery, Albert, Alfred, Aldérice, Paul-Émile and Edmond.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Elia Melanson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
