Jean W. Duke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2020, Jean W. Duke (Moncton, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Talbert Northrup and Winnifred Northrup (Prosser); her siblings-in-law, Doris Bulmer, Wilfred and Ken Duke; and her grandson Christopher Sweezey.

She is survived by: her children, Louanne Betts (Jim), Susan Sweezey (Doug) and David John Duke; her grandchildren, Dale (Renee), Shane (Christina), Luke (Karen), Craig Betts, Mark and Matthew Sweezey (Alisha); her great grandchildren, Kolin, Kaylee, Savannah, Alexa, Drew, Annika, Joe, Brody Betts, Sloan and Militaw Sweezey; her sisters-in-law, Belle Bulmer, Marjorie Bulmer and Joyce Parker; and her friends, Marion Platt, Olive Mercer and Sammy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines must be followed and wearing of a mask is mandatory while in the funeral home at all times.

In memory of Jean, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada, Crisis Pregnancy Centre, Sunny Brae Baptist Church or The Moncton Community Chaplaincy.
