He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Louise (Smith); his parents, Alec and Reta; and his sisters, Helen Bishop and Marjorie Kehoe.

He is survived by: his son Christopher; his sister Brenda Diamond (Cayman Islands); and his nieces, Sandi Kehoe (San Diego) and Tamara Begin.

If so desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Roy may be made to the Westmorland Historical Society.

“Our Condolences to the family of Uncle Roy. We met briefly when I was 8 years old at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Stellarton. I also remember meeting my sister Brenda Diamond. I remember Grandpa taking me in his ole Jeep down bush roads to go trout fishing. I also hung out with Grandpa as he was building a Piggy Back loading ramp down at the Rail Yards. That was the last time I visited the Maritimes. I am the son of the late Marjorie Kehoe and brother of Sandra Kehoe Forutan & Brenda Diamond.”
