It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacques Lavoie of Moncton, New Brunswick, born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irenee "Rene" Lavoie and Maria Lavoie; his brothers, Rudy (Bernice) of Moncton, Roland (Jeannine) of Campbellton, Maurice (Lynn) of Rivière and Qué; his stepson Sean Noel Denton (Mariam); his great-nephew Samuel Hardy Somerville of Dartmouth, N. S.; his parents-in-law, Vivian Somerville and Sterling Somerville of Saint John, N. B.; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Somerville (Debby) of Saint John, N. B..

He is survived by: his wife Norma Jeanne; his daughter-in-law Mariam Denton (late Sean Noel Denton) of Antigonish, N. S.; his nephew Todd Somerville (Candace); and his great-niece Sadie Vivian of Dartmouth, N. S.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and so many very good friends and relatives.
