She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Risy; the father of her children Kurt Schoenberner; and her close friend Al Sutherland. She is survived by: her children, Karen Beckwith and Bryan Simmons; her grandchildren, Mathew, Lorrie, Shaun, Jeffrey, Jennifer and Ryan; and her half-brother Horst Risy. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
