He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Mitton (Cusack); his parents, Wellington R. Mitton and Helen B. Mitton (Stiles); and his sister Lois M. Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Madeline H. Mitton of Moncton and Dr. Dann A. H. Mitton (Robert Nesbitt).
