She was predeceased by: her parents, Tranquil Melanson and Sara Melanson (Melanson); her husband Gérard; and her sisters, Eveline, Marie, Anna and Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her sons, Gérald (late Paulette), Raymond (Francine) and Normand (Nanette); her grandchildren, Isabelle, Denis, André, Charline, Monique and Julien; and her great grandchildren, Caroline and Emilie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
