He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Richard and Melanie (Surette); his wife Aline (Roy); and his siblings, Lorraine Mabel, Edmee, Clarence, Edgar and Armand.
He is survived by: his children, Diane (Gary Laurita) and Maurice (Donna Richard); his grandchildren, Melissa (Jason Phillips), Jennifer Mathieu (Marc Gould), Gary (Katrina Laurita), Lisa (James Ketterer) and Jessica (Matthew Boyle); his great grandchildren, Victoria, Brody, Diana, Meghan, Kyle, Rebecca, Abel, Charlotte, Luca, Sienna, Austin and Connor; his nephew Bobby (Liliane Surette); and his brother-in-law Yvon Roy (Barb).
