He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Edna Eileen Steeves (Costain) and Lewis Titus Steeves; his birth parents, Viola May Russell (Conrad) and James Gordon Russell; his wife Elizabeth Steeves (Steeves); his children, Jeffrey (Susan) and Karla (Anthony Locke) of Smithtown, NB.; his grandsons, Kameron of Halifax, NS and Ashton of Fredericton, NB.; his sister Sandra Blair (Russell) of L'Île-Perrot, PQ; and his sister-in-law Wendy Somers (Dale). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Harry's generosity was perhaps never more evident than with his tireless support of charity work – lending his IT expertise to set up more system support than can be listed.
