He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Edith Edgar (Hicks); his children, Darren Edgar and Gail Edgar-Parent; and his brothers, Charles and Glen Edgar.

He is survived by: his wife Dale Edgar; his children, Andrew Edgar, Adam Edgar (Wendy), Kurtiss Edgar and Diane Cormier; and his siblings, Richard, Reginald, Les Edgar, Carol Edgar and Linda. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as several nieces and, nephews.
