It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Duke Paul Whalen of Moncton, New Brunswick, born in Gaspé, Québec, who passed away on March 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Paul Whalen; his grandparents, Garnet, Myra Annett (Johnson), William and Abigail Whalen; his uncles, Roderick, Hank and Hal; and his nephew Nathan.
He is survived by: his mother Sheila Annett of Hopewell Hill, NB.; his children, Dominic and Aiyanna of Moncton; his siblings, Tammy Gauvin (Dennis) of Riverview, Carrie Ann Beaudoin (Joey) of Edmonton, Alberta and Troy Whalen (Stephanie) of Moncton; his nieces and nephews, David John, Brandon, Alayna, Ceara, Lilly, Lukas and Melody; his aunt Bonnie Ganong (Harvey); and his cousin Jamie. He is also survived by his cousins and friends.
In memory of Gregory, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
