She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Christie and Evelyn Christie (Killam); her husband Donald Blakney; and her brother Sandy Christie. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Wallace (late Kevin), Herb Blakney (Bev), Cindy Blakney (Dave) and Valerie D'Amours (André); her grandchildren, Josh Wallace (Heidi), Heather MacKenzie (Matt), Dawn Gillcash (Brad), Jackie Perry (Colby) and Tonya Blakney; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Connor, Blake, Cohen and Jackson; her brother Jack Christie (Bev); and her close friend Gary Abel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
