She was predeceased by: her daughter Lise MacDonald; her parents, Marie Richard and Willy Richard; her siblings, Aurèle, Fernand (Fernande), Lorraine (Alphonse LeBlanc), Bertha (Edouard Caissie), Lilianne (Aristide Gaudet), Lucille (Ferdinand King) and Yolande (Edouard Fagan); and also Anne MacDonald.

She is survived by: her husband Blair Bourgeois; her children, Gisèle (Paul Montador) of Vancouver and Tom MacDonald of Toronto; her grandchildren, Brandon, Chantal, Colin, Marc, André and Cathy MacDonald; and her sisters, Pauline Boudreau (late Pierre Boudreau) of Moncton, Yvonne Hanson (Westley Hanson) of Kalamazoo and Michigan. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
