He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Gauvin and Elizabeth Gauvin (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Camille, Edna, Rachel, Jeannita, Thomas, Minnie, Raymond, Ivan, Stella and Armand.
He is survived by: his significant other Germaine; his children, Lise Arsenault of Dieppe, Claire Belliveau (Jean "Chico") of Dieppe and Pierre (Madeleine) of Dieppe; his grandchildren, Tessa Belliveau, Natalie Arsenault, Richard Belliveau, Mathieu Arsenault, Patrick Belliveau, Gabrielle Gauvin, Patrick Gauvin and Julie Gauvin; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Olivia, Isabel and Alec. He is also survived by his many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
