He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Régina (Cormier); his wife Germaine (Allain); his daughter Gloria; and his siblings, Rita, Germaine, Eva, Edgar and Father Emile.

He is survived by: his daughter Gisèle Després of Moncton; his grandchildren, Patrick, Michel, Thomas and Danielle; his great grandchild Amara-Grace; and his brother Ronald of Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
