He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald John Bouma and Wilhelmina Johanna Bouma (Kaldenhoven); and his sister Wilhelmina LaFrance. He is survived by: his wife Gemma Marie Bouma (Gallant); his children, Christina Taylor (Richard), Peter (Amanda) and Philip (Melanie); his grandchildren, William, Angela Taylor, Sullivan, Claira, Patrick and Andrew Bouma; his stepgrandchild Layne Workmen; his siblings, Hans (Betty), Peter (Leda), Elly Gallant (late Marc) and Jane Hachey (Clifford); and his brother-in-law Jasper LaFrance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
