He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilfred Sr. and Marion (MacKenzie); and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Denise (Melanson) of Moncton; and his sisters, Elizabeth Forrest (Ian Forrest) of Toronto and Charlotte Lysak (Fred) of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
