He is survived by: his daughter Janet Smith of Moncton, NB.; his daughter-in-law Donna Roode of Neguac, NB.; his siblings, Keith (Barbara) of North River, NS, Terry (Sheila) of Truro, NS, David of North River, NS, Michael of Edmonton, AB., Velma Hoar of Truro, NS and Mildred Wright (Bill) of North River, NS.; his sisters-in-law, Marie Irving of Truro, NS, Muriel Roode of North River, NS and Diane Irving of Kingston, ON.; his granddaughters, Summer Smith, Sierra Smith of Moncton, NB and Caitlin Roode of Calgary, AB.; his great grandchild Nyla Pointen of Calgary, AB.; his son James Roode; his brothers, William Roode, Carl Roode and Allan Roode; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Davidson, Helen Johnston, Elva Irving, Glenda Irving, Raymond Irving, Warren Irving, John Irving and Carl Hoar.
