He was predeceased by: his parents, Élias Gautreau and Gladys Gautreau (Larkins); and his siblings, Eva, Edna, Gladys and Eddie.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron (Lilibeth), Chuck (Tammy) and Marc; his wife Gerry Wilbur; his sister Theresa; his grandson Zachary; and his great grandchild Mackenzie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a 4th-degree member of the Knights of Columbus (Council 1310), working for the Columbus Club until his retirement and embodying the values of charity, unity, and fraternity.
