He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyre Babin and Céleste Babin (Robichaud). He is survived by: his wife Eva (Chevarie); his children, Jacques (Tina) and Lise Babin (Roger Melanson); his grandchildren, Patrick, Mathieu, Émilie and Simon; and his brother Arthur (Fernande). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
