Flora Poirier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Poirier (Moncton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gérard Poirier; her parents, Édouard Hasselmann and Dométhilde Hasselmann (Richard); her siblings, Irène Maillet (Jean), Julia Boudreau (Lionel), Rita Cormier (Narcisse), Dorice Poirier (Aldrice), Émile (Exelda), Louis (Exelda), Henri (Florence), Ernest, Maurice (Thérèse), Albert (Évangéline), Arthur (Marie) and Roger (Margaret); and her adoptive son Harvey Cormier.
She is survived by: her children, Roméo (Patricia) of Ottawa, Denise, Joanne (Eugène LeBlanc) of Moncton and Ginette (Paul Gauvin) of Irishtown; and her grandchildren, Sébastien, Michel, Jean-Simon, Marie-Michelle, Marc-André, Nicolas, Daniel, Mario and Denis. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre (88 Church St, Moncton, NB E1C4Z5). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
