He was predeceased by: his parents, Herve Gautreau and Domethilde Gautreau (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Bernadette, Eugene and Louis.

He is survived by: his former wife Murielle Robichaud; his daughters, Charline Gautreau (Claude), Louise Chartrand (Dave) and Gisèle Gautreau; his grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua, Jordan, Brittany, Kyle, Kaleb and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Aiden; and his siblings, Marie-Thérèse Hachey (late Eric), Rose-Marie Gautreau, Raymond (Carmelle) and Victor (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
