He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mae (Kennedy) and Gurney Jones (F. W.); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Lamb); his daughter Holly Ferguson; his siblings, Delphin Jones and Velma Carter; and his son-in-law Jerry Jardine.

He is survived by: his children, Coleen Jardine, C. Beth Dow, Heather Jones and Keith Jones (Cheryl LeBlanc); and his son-in-law David Ferguson. He is also survived by son eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
