He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Johnson and Charlotte Johnson (Gaynor). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Johnson; his children, Kevin Johnson (Krista) and Angie Bird (Justin); his grandchildren, Grace, Kennedy, Cameron, Olivia and Ella; and his siblings, Nora Johnson, Gordon Johnson (Rori), Dana Johnson and Stephen Johnson (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
