She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Turner and Eva Turner (Hines); her husband Laurence Nelson; her son Larry Nelson; and her siblings, Austin Turner, Joan Currie, Marilyn Fenwick and Betty Gillard.
She is survived by: her son Tom Nelson (Joyce); her grandchildren, Alexander (Jessica), Jennifer Powell (Colin), Eric (Kailey Cummings), Phoebe Rees (Elis) and Kit; her great grandchild Greyson Nelson; and her daughter-in-law Pippa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In memory of Doreen, memorial contributions to West Lane Baptist Church, The Friends of the Moncton Hospital or Karing Kitchen would be appreciated.
